Born in the city of Lipa, Philippines, in 1976, I've always been driven by a thirst for knowledge and a passion for achieving my goals. As the second of three children, I developed a strong work ethic and a competitive spirit from a young age. My early years were marked by a love of learning, which led me to pursue higher education at Pablo Borbon Memorial Institute of Technology, now Batangas State University, in 1993.

Initially drawn to the world of Civil Engineering, I soon discovered a deeper passion for technology and switched to Computer Engineering. After five years of dedicated study, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1998.

A year later, I embarked on a life-changing adventure, moving to Spain. Since 2006, I've been fortunate to work at a progressive travel agency in Barcelona. This international experience has allowed me to bridge cultures and contribute to a global industry.

In 2016, I began a new chapter in my life, seeking greener pastures in the vibrant city of London. Two years later, I was thrilled to relocate my family to this diverse and dynamic city.

While life in London has been both rewarding and challenging, we've embraced the opportunities and overcome the obstacles. We've learned to navigate the city's fast-paced lifestyle, its cultural richness, and its unique blend of tradition and modernity.

As we continue to build our lives here, I'm filled with hope and optimism. Despite the inevitable ups and downs, I believe in the power of faith and resilience. By trusting in God, I can weather any storm and emerge stronger.

From Hobbyist to Aspiring Photographer

My journey into the world of photography began in childhood, a spark ignited by a curiosity to explore the artistic side of myself. I've immersed myself in various creative pursuits, from design to image editing, but it was the thrill of capturing moments through a lens that truly captivated my heart.

In 2006, my passion took a more serious turn. Armed with a Canon DSLR, I embarked on a creative adventure alongside a friend. While my professional commitments limit the time I can dedicate to photography, I cherish every opportunity to explore my vision and refine my skills.

Over the years, I've strived to expand my technical knowledge and artistic perspective. I'm constantly seeking new ways to improve my craft and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. As an aspiring photographer, I dream of a future where I can fully immerse myself in this art form.

While I may consider myself an amateur, I'm driven by an unwavering desire to grow and learn. I believe that the journey is just as important as the destination, and I'm excited to see where my passion for photography will lead me.

While capturing a compelling image is undoubtedly crucial, the true magic often lies in the post-processing stage. It's here that a photograph can truly come to life, transforming a simple snapshot into a breath-taking masterpiece.

Adjusting exposure, enhancing details, and adding contrast and colour - these are the often-overlooked steps that can elevate a photograph from ordinary to extraordinary. Every photographer develops their own unique style and techniques, carefully guarded secrets that set their work apart. While sharing tips and tricks is common, the full extent of their knowledge is often kept close to the chest.

I'm proud to say that my proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is one of my greatest strengths. Through careful editing and manipulation, I can breathe new life into my images, bringing out their hidden beauty and storytelling potential.
